Chicago Torah Network (CTN) is a dynamic Jewish outreach and adult education program, founded in 1990, that is making a real difference in the lives of thousands of Jews of all backgrounds and affiliations.
CTN provides an informal environment for Jewish men and women to explore Jewish tradition in a way that is meaningful, relevant and very enjoyable. These Jewish growth opportunities include classes, workshops, Jewish singles' events and more, and are held at a variety of locations throughout Chicago and the suburbs. In addition, CTN's free publications of Jewish thought, The CTN Shabbat Fax/Email and The Torah Minute, are read by over 10,000 people each week.

Our Staff
Rabbi Moshe Katz and Rabbi Doni Deutsch are founders and Directors of Chicago Torah Network (CTN), a dynamic Jewish outreach and adult education program, founded in 1990. Featured in a Chicago Tribune article, ("The Roving Rabbis", September 23, 1998), CTN is recognized as a leader in the battle for Jewish continuity and has made a real difference in the lives of large numbers of Jewish individuals and families.
Rabbi Katz received his Rabbinical Ordination and an Advanced Degree in Talmud at Beth Medrash Govoha in New Jersey and Rabbi Deutsch received his Rabbinical Ordination and an Advanced Degree in Talmud at Gur Aryeh Initiative in New York. They both served as founding members of the Chicago Community Kollel where they did post graduate work in Talmud and taught community education classes, before founding Chicago Torah Network. They also are the authors and publishers of the highly acclaimed CTN Shabbat Fax/Email and The Torah Minute, weekly publications of Jewish thought that are read by thousands of Jewish men and women of all backgrounds and affiliations throughout the world.
Rabbi Ephraim Hochberg
Rabbi Ephraim Hochberg
is Coordinator of CTN's Individualized Studies Programs and Instructor of its Father-Son Torah Study Group. He is also a Certified Licensed Jewish Studies Teacher of the Associated Talmud Torah and was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2004 for his accomplishments at Yeshiva Tiferes Tzvi, Chicago's largest Jewish Day School. Rabbi Hochberg received his Rabbinical Ordination and an Advanced Degree in Talmud at Beth Medrash Govoha in New Jersey and lives with his wife Sari and their children in Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood.
Esti Deutsch
Esti Deutsch is the Director of CTN's Women's Learning Network and Jewish Bridal Education. She is a popular and highly respected speaker who has been invited to teach about mikva and Jewish marriage in a number of cities around the country. A computer consultant by profession, Esti recently retired after 25 years with Trustmark Insurance, to work full time with CTN and the Jewish Family Initiative.
