What does it mean to be a part of the Chosen People?  What does it mean about my relationship with the rest of the world?  Do we choose to be chosen?  And can I choose to not be chosen?  In addition to exploring Torah insights that go to the core of what it means to be Jewish, Aliza will also share her personal journey to Judaism.

2."Thou Shalt Love G-d". How, How Much and What if I Just Don't Feel it? - Pearl Gross

Learn how to make your relationship with G-d real. This class will explore the deeper meaning of some of Judaism's most fundamental prayers and Torah texts straight from the source. (Text with translation will be provided, and knowledge of Hebrew or prior Torah study is not required for this class)

3. Inside/Outside A Drama & Dance Workshop – Tsiona Adler & Mashi Polstein

Through improv and movement, Tsiona and Mashi will take you through a stimulating, fun, and dynamic class, exploring the internal and external roles we play and how they affect the choices in our lives.

With all the roles we play in our life, how do we recognize and create healthy connections and boundaries in our relationships? Learn insights and tools for keeping a strong sense of self and of knowing where we begin and end as a person in each of our relationships.

2. How Ordinary People Can Get Through Extraordinary Circumstances - Aliza Bulow

Draw on Jewish teachings and lots of practical wisdom to develop the tools to get through everyday difficulties as well as some of life's greatest challenges.

3. Inspiration for Illustration - Talia (Greenland) Zisook

This illustration workshop is intended to give a taste of the vast world of children's literature and illustration.  Students will come away from the class with a tangible project.  The goal of the workshop is to provide ideas, inspiration, skills and information so that each student can make an original art piece during class.  (No prior experience necessary.)

4. Yes You Can - Still Life Art Class - Susan Brenner

Create a one of a kind still life and watch the 'artist within' come alive!  Learn the basic principles used by the old masters consisting of 3 elements ... size, shape, and values. Guaranteed success while learning and having fun! (No prior experience necessary.)
